Last week, we were thrilled to receive photos from Summer Dream guests, Richard and Paula K., their daughter, friends, and their lovely rescue dog, Lulu -- a Westie-poo (Poodle/ West Highland White Terrier hybrid). Here, you can see Lulu having fun on the beach and feeling right at home in Summer Dream. What a joy to share the MyHomeIdeas WindMark Idea house with other nice families and their pets!
So as you can see, for those of you (like me) who can't bear to leave your pampered pups at home while on vacation, you'll be happy to note that Summer Dream is dog-friendly! You will also be thrilled to know that with the exception of the State Parks, ALL public beaches in Gulf County are pet friendly, as well!
In fact, K-9 Magazine named St. Joe Beach "The Best Dog Beach in the Country" in 2006!! So, pets on a leash are more than welcome to take their owners for walks here in WindMark, and enjoy the blue waters, and white sand.
But please, if you do bring your pet, we'd love for you to send us a picture of your pooch having a blast on the sandy shores. We'll post it on the Summer Dream Cottage website next to our our family pup – Maggie the Bernese Mountain Beach Dog, and new favored guest - Lulu!
